Westerleigh Judokwai understand that the spread of the coronavirus is very unsettling and following the temporary closure of the club we would like to use our resources and call on the members of the club and public to help us support the NHS staff from Hastings Conquest and the staff at Hastings Ambulance Station, who will be battling the virus on the front line and looking after the most vulnerable of our society.

Westerleigh are asking for members to donate their weekly subs to this crowdfunding page as we launch an appeal to keep our amazing NHS and Ambulance Staff stocked up on essential supplies in their staff rooms. The club are going to be putting together ‘bags of kindness’ (kindly donated by SuperStitch86) of tea, coffee and goodies which will be responsibly delivered to the Conquest Hospital and Ambulance Station to show our support and appreciation to the staff. Staff are expected pay for their own tea and coffee and this small gesture might just help show them that we appreciate all their hard work and support, especially during this unsettled time when we need them the most.

We feel it is important to all pull together and this is a good way to keep up moral and community spirit in what is an uncertain and worrying time.

Any support that you can give would be really appreciated, lets help keep our NHS and Ambulance staff going!
