So here is a small local club in Westhoughton serving a large number of children and families through sport and community involvement. It has had a battle to survive and get itself a piece of land in the town to make its home but has now secured a hidden gem of Wigan rd which they are working tirelessly to transform into a long term viable project for future generations,

Sadly they had recently thought that they had secured a joint club house with other sporting facilities, but were disapointed when this did not happen and so are left with only a portable building and one toilet for everyone, matchdays and training.

They have managed to get foundations in place for the clubhouse and services they need with the help of some council funding and the hard work of the club members in doing the groundwork themselves. Now they need to get the building up before winter arrives and the task of raising £120,000 is on.

The Community has taken them to its heart and are trying tosupport through community led fund raising events including Yrn Bombing town centre and an auction, but we need to gather pace and look for support to give this project a real chance to BUILD a future.
