Westcountry Wasps RFC are fundraising £2,500 to help our team attend the Union Cup in Portugal in 2027.

We are a grassroots rugby club and proudly the oldest inclusive gay rugby club in Devon. Since our founding, we’ve created a welcoming space where LGBTQ+ people and allies can come together, play rugby, build confidence, and be part of a supportive community — both on and off the pitch.

The Union Cup is one of Europe’s biggest inclusive rugby tournaments, bringing together teams from across the continent to celebrate sport, diversity, and belonging. For our players, attending the tournament is more than just a chance to compete; it is an opportunity to represent Devon, champion inclusive rugby, and show that rugby truly is a game for everyone.

Your donation will help cover the costs of travel, accommodation, tournament fees, and kit, making it possible for more of our players to take part, regardless of their financial situation.

Every contribution, big or small, will help the Wasps get to Portugal and proudly represent our club, our community, and inclusive rugby.
