We are a family run appeal which started in winter 2016, taking in donations to help our local homeless community make it through the freezing weather with warm, dry clothes and essential supplies. This is on-going all year round.

We also volunteer with a local church group and alongside The Black Horse night shelter in providing food and supplies to them too. Part of what we do is raise awareness of and allow our homeless friends voices to be heard, especially via our Facebook page, attending council meetings and replying to local news stories.

We would also like to explore other ways in which we can help, perhaps with drug and alcohol counsellors, people offering time for hair cuts etc, housing and benefits advice... We would really like to help the current charities, working locally, be able to offer sturdy and fully rounded support for those in our community who are in desperate need.

We are interested in learning ourselves how best we can support people with complex needs and who are often invisible to those around them.
