We are walking the Edinburgh the 13th of September to raise money for:
Activities to Remember.
Help Us Bring Joy, Connection, and Dignity to Seniors Living With Dementia and other forms of Cognitive Impairment staying in hospital.
Every day, older adults living with dementia and other forms of cognitive impairment face challenges that can make even the simplest moments feel overwhelming. But with the right support and the right activities, their days in hospital can still be filled with purpose, creativity, and meaningful connection.
Our Activities Team works directly with these seniors, offering programs that stimulate memory, support emotional wellbeing, and encourage social engagement. From music therapy and art sessions to gentle movement classes, sensory activities, and one-on-one companionship, our team creates moments that truly matter.
Why Your Support Matters
Many of the seniors we serve have limited resources and few opportunities for enrichment.
Funding helps us provide:
Innovative cognitive-support activities that keep minds active and spirits lifted
Music, art, and sensory materials specifically designed for individuals with dementia
Specialized training for staff so they can deliver compassionate, person-centered
Small group programs that help combat loneliness and isolation
Adaptive tools and equipment that make participation safe and accessible
Every contribution -no matter the size- directly improves the quality of life for someone who needs it, we can continue to create moments of joy, spark memories, and bring comfort to individuals who often feel forgotten.
Join Us in Making a difference
Supporting our Activities Team means giving seniors with cognitive impairment staying in hospital the chance to laugh, create, connect, and feel valued. It means reminding them—and their families—that they are not alone.
I kindly ask you to consider contributing to this important cause.
