Hey guys

I am creating this page for our son Daniel, who broke his neck whilst on holiday in Spain in 2015 with his family, he is now a c4 tetraplegic. He dived into a wave and hit a raised sand bank which paralysed him from the neck down. After being pulled out from the sea he was transported to hospital where he was operated on, his lungs then collapsed, so he was ventilated, after 8 days in Spain he was flown back to the UK where he spent 2 and a half months in intensive care in QMC hospital, where he was told he probably would never get movement back, he was then transferred to Sheffield spinal unit for rehab. He finally came out of hospital in June 2016, and has gradually gained more movement and become more independent. Although he struggles daily, he always puts on a brave face, he did the 10k last year in his wheel chair at parallel London! To raise money for The Matt Hampson Foundation to support others with life changing disabilities. And its now time for us to give back to Daniel! He is in desperate need of a new wheelchair which you can imagine is quite pricy, So we are asking all friends and family to try and reach the goal and get Daniel the wheelchair he needs and deserves. So please any amount is much appreciated.
