Story
Myself and a group of young, ambitious students from Aireborne Theatre are taking a piece of theatre to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival this August. We are a keen, excited group of young theatre makers looking to create a piece of theatre that is urgent, honest and sensitive.
As a company based in Leeds, we are keen to amplify the voices of the people of Leeds and create a piece that speaks to and from those who surround us. We have connected with Support After Rape and Sexual Violence Leeds (SARSVL) to ensure we form bonds with the people of our city! Our piece, when you cure me, grapples with topics that needs the platforms that the Fringe offers.
However, we need your help! The Fringe requires a variety of funding. We are looking to raise money to make this piece the best it can be!
It is no secret how transformative theatre and the arts can be. Any small donation will extend a hand to a group of young theatre makers eager to raise our sense of cultural consciousness.
