FURRY EARS RESCUE - Whisky's Journey
Whisky, our loving big ginger bear, was rescued a couple of years ago in Cyprus by a kind lady and joined her household of 8 cats and one dog.
Sadly, in 2024 the lady died, leaving her nephew to come over from Germany and take care of her affairs. He adopted some of her animals himself and found a few homes for some of the others back in Germany, but a few cats remained, including 4-year-old Whisky.

The gentleman reached out to us at Furry Ears Rescue, so we added poor Whisky onto the next available flight and he came into foster at our brilliant foster space in Java Whiskers White City.
During his stay in foster, his carers noticed that he was suddenly not doing so well - so we promptly took him to the vet for a check-up and it turns out he had some really bad issues with his teeth, which had started to cause some real pain.

We couldn't let the poor boy suffer so booked him in swiftly for a dental, during which 13 teeth were removed and his gums were treated.
He feels so much better now, but although our vets kindly agreed a deferred payment this is now due at the end of the month.
This is where we need your help - please help Whisky with a donation, no matter how small this will make a huge difference! And become an integral part of his journey to a new, happy life.

Whisky will no doubt be more than happy to provide you with some head butts to thank you, if you happen to venture into the cat lounge <3
Thank you on his behalf,
The Furry Ears Rescue team.
