I've raised £3000 to Help the club survive the financial impact of Covid-19

To try and fill the void which has been created in our lives by an extended period with no rugby we have decided to set ourselves an epic challenge. We plan to do a virtual tour which follows visits the 3 stadiums that the Scottish Rugby Team would have played at in their 2020 summer tour. This insane journey travels through 18 countries, 3 continents and 25,114km! We are aiming to have this challenge complete before the first Senior home game of the new season.
We are also asking for people to donate whatever they can to support this challenge with all proceeds going to the club to help us in these financially uncertain times caused by Covid-19.
We are calling on our players, coaches, members and supporters to help is in this challenge by logging up the kilometers via walking, running, cycling or swimming. To add your distances to our totals simply create a free account on Strava and join the dedicated challenge club at the following link:
https://www.strava.com/clubs/whitecraigs-scotland-summer-tour
Once you have joined the club on strava you simply need to record your activities and we will total everyone’s up. We will also provide regular updates on our progress with the challenge on here and social media.
We will leave West Lodge in Glasgow and travel 12,860km South, through Europe and Africa before arriving at our Newlands Rugby Stadium in Cape Town for the first test against the Springboks.
From here we will travel 1546km across the width of South Africa to reach Jonsson Kings Park in Durban for the second test against the reigning World Champions. After the second test we will travel 28km to the outskirts of Durban to the King Shaka International Airport.
We will then follow the path of the team plane as it travels 10,649km across the Indian ocean to land in Dunedin International Airport.
The final leg of the journey is a quick 31km hike from the airport to the Forsyth Barr Stadium for the final test against the All Blacks!
