I've raised £700 to help install floodlights at Ferguson Park, Rosewell; the home of Whitehill Welfare Football Club.

Whitehill Welfare Football Club was formed in 1953 out of the now defunct Whitehill Colliery in Rosewell, Midlothian. Having initially played in the amateur and juvenile leagues, the club joined the senior ranks of Scottish football in 1979 and went on to become the East of Scotland's most successful side, winning the title on 16 occasions.
The licencing requirements to maintain our status as full members of the Scottish Football Association changed during last season and at our most recent audit in June 2019, we have been set a deadline of 1 June 2020 to have a fully operational floodlight system in place or run the risk of losing our licence and therefore our place in The Scottish Cup and the ability to progress in the league pyramid system beyond tier six.
Whitehill Welfare have a proud history and any donation that helps us add to that history is gratefully received.
