IRONMAN FOR AN IRONMAN: Two years ago my close friend Steve White was diagnosed with grade 3 glioblastoma, brain cancer. Commonly known as the ‘Terminator’ due to its aggressive nature Stevens prognosis of survival was devastatingly low. Steven has undertaken treatment aboard using dendritic cell treatment. Steve’s courage in the face of such adversity is remarkable, and his strength truly inspiring. In October 2018 I will be completing the Barcelona Ironman to raise money so that Steven can continue with his life saving treatment. The Ironman consists of a 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike and followed by a full marathon within 15 hours 40 min. I would be eternally grateful for your support in raising vital funds for Steve.
