My Name is Matt Francis and three weeks ago my sister Becky, found a lump on her breast and like any responsible 28 year old she went and got it checked out. From that she had been diagnosed with Stage 2 of non aggressive Breast Cancer.

I’m going to be honest creating a Justgiving page wasn’t something we thought about doing or particularly wanted to do. But after visiting a wig shop the one she has set her heart on for when her treatment takes effect is is a lot more expensive than we ever thought, as she is getting married in 6 months, her hair is more important than it would otherwise be. Not only that, due to the nature of her job (she works with small children) inevitably Becky will need to take some leave from her position after various treatments and having a 2 year old herself...life is hectic at the best of times anyway.

Speaking to my Mum and Dad we have all been overwhelmed by the outpour of support from family, friends plus everyone else in between and any contributions that could be made will make this period of time going through cancer a little easier.
