What is crowdfunding?
Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.

Story
After telling myself I could never run a marathon i have decided to run 3, with 5 half marathons thrown in for fun. Why? I had done little to no exercise for a year and decided to set myself a challenge. I plan to run 150 competitive miles over various events. At present I am not doing this for an specific charity, however, if you would like to donate I will of course pass on any generous donation to a worthy cause once I have completed the journey.
