Story
After a long campaign by a large number of very special people the Edkins family raised funds to cover the cost of building a small extension to house proper
bathroom/toilet facilities and a bedroom for 15 year old William to grow in to. The family have now embarked on the task of equipping the spaces with the equipment that with make everyday life more comfortable. The largest single cost is for ceiling track hoists.
Remarkably to fit these essential tracks in the bedroom, bathroom and living space is over £10.000. Track hoists give William access to all of his own rooms without the need for his parents lifting and carrying him from place to place. The hoist will take him from bed to bath to toilet to physio space with the need for constant painful transfers.
