What is crowdfunding?
Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
Story
Thank you for looking at this page. I'm Will (age 16) and I am going on a charity expedition to Borneo in July 2017 to help local communities there. In order take part in the expedition, I must do fundraising for the money.
Whilst I'm there, I will be contributing to the local community by helping them with reforestation and/or building much needed facilities such as water pumps or toilets. This helps the communities and the only way these things would happen is by expeditions like this, so I'm really looking forward to having the chance to be able to make a difference.
It would mean the world to me if you can help me achieve the funds I need to attend the expedition and any donations will be greatly appreciated! any excess funds between me and Niall Manford will be donated to Beechwood Cancer Care.

Have a brilliant time and put that interest in engineering into fitting toilets and water pumps.You've got to start somewhere and it'll be hugely beneficial for those in need.
