What is crowdfunding?

Story
As you may know, our current Christmas lights have reached the end of their useful life and we need to replace them if we want to continue the tradition of lighting up the beautiful beech tree on the green each year.
This is where your help is needed – can we pull together as a community and raise the money to keep our traditional, twinkling Christmas lights lit this year?
