Weʼve raised £1,490 to reclaim and maintain the beautiful grounds of Willen Village church, a Grade I listed building, for the benefit of the many visitors.

Story
To reclaim the beautiful church garden of St Mary Magdalene ( Willen Village Church), volunteers, who have been working tirelessly every Saturday morning from 10 to 12, now need funds to continue. Your donation will help to pay for tree management services and the shredding of years of excessive growth. The volunteers can no longer dispose of the increasing amount of vegetation without professional machinery. Your donation will ensure the future of this peaceful churchyard and lime avenue, for people to walk through, rest and enjoy. We need your help to enable the volunteers to continue their work.

I live in Willen Park and walk through the church grounds with my doggie often. I love this church and it’s been wonderful seeing the headstones emerge from the overgrowth. Well done!
