Weʼve raised £220 to help raise funds for several causes close to my heart 1 MS Research 2 Erskine 3 Soldiers off our streets

    Blantyre, South Lanarkshire, United Kingdom
Funded on Tuesday, 28th March 2017

Don't have time to donate right now?

    Story

Since being unable to work due to PPMS I've put on an amazing 6 1/2 stone. Not only was I shocked but it woke me up to the pitfalls of being ill. Whilst I thought it was a temp thing, Primary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis is a life sentence.
Whilst most money is rightly being donated to cancer study groups, I have to look at my own set of circumstances. In my life time things may not change but I'll be damned if my daughter (see picture) will grow up thinking about MS. I cannot change this by myself but by changing my lifestyle, I might be here long enough to see changes.
So if you can, please donate. Every single penny brings a pound, brings a tenner, becomes twenty and so on. My weight loss is a small part of what I can do, but I won't do nothing.
Erskine is a place that looks after veterans, who have fallen on ill-times and they need a wee hand.
Soldiers Off Our Streets, simply put it gets a roof over my comrades (my wider family) a young charity but none the less important.
My target is to lose 10 stone, I was saying 12 but the docs said that'd probs be a chunk to much.
I start on my birthday December 4th and I'll stop when I've shed the 10 stone.
Wish me luck but better than that........Donate

the split won't be even, 5k to MS and 2.5k to Erskine and SOTS, the more I raise the more I give......sorry, the more WE give.

    Thanks

this page will fade into the background but it will still be live. I will update everyday with donations made and how ?I'm doing on a monthly basis. I'm not going to weigh myself every day, or every week. That's only looking for an excuse to stop, I'll end when 10 is lost.
