Story

On 18th February 2018 my eldest son, Jonathan, and two friends were involved in a horrific car accident back home in North Carolina, which crushed the car he was in and left all three with severe injuries. He was airlifted via helicopter to the Sentara Norfolk General Hospital Trauma Centre in Norfolk Virginia. His two friends were released from the hospital after their own stays in the ICU and are still recovering from their injuries. Jonathan had a ruptured spleen and a traumatic brain injury that left him in a coma for several weeks. Our family was hoping for the best yet fearing the worst.

Jonathan is now receiving specialized treatment at Shepherd Center in Atlanta GA, one of the top facilities in the U.S. We are pleased to say that he is making significant progress and continues to become more alert and responsive.

Jonathan is a very caring and kind young man and dedicated sportsman that has helped and inspired many of his family, friends, teachers and coaches. Many people have reached out to me to share their stories of how he has had a positive impact on their lives.

We now want to reach out to him in his hour of need. All funds raised will be used to assist us in giving Jonathan the best chance to attain the fullest recovery.
