I've raised £600 to buy specialised equipment that would make my brother's life more comfortable and help ease his pain.

My brother William has C.F. a genetic condition which means his body produces thick mucus in his lungs and other vital organs. This can cause a whole array of debilitating conditions one of which is his dependency of a constant supply of oxygen through his nose. William is 21 this year and despite being around 5'8 (when he can stand up straight) is only 35KG due to his body's inability to absorb nutrition. As you can imagine this means at times william can be very frail and weak and is pain almost constantly which is the reason we need help.
On the 21st of June, despite being told he would never get home from hospital, William was discharged from the Queen Elizabeth and moved back home with his mum to recieve the support from friends and family that he needs to get through everyday life.
Since then however William has been almost bedbound and has relied on his mum bathing him just to keep clean and ease his pain a little more. As you can imagine this is pretty humiliating for someone who is almost 21 years old and this is why we are trying to raise funds. Williams friends have sourced and quoted an engineer who will install machinery in his house which would allow him to enter and exit the bath of his own accord any time he wants, something that sounds so simple to most of us, this would make a huge difference to Williams day to day living.
