Hi I'm sister of 5 I live with my youngest one and my other little one passed away in 2006 of a disorder called MCADD, a rare genetic condition where a person has problems breaking down fat to use as an energy source. My family was heartbroken I was young then so didn't understand exactly however I knew my mum and dad was both massively emotionally effected. Then in 2012 my mum passed away of bowel cancer who we all miss very much. My dad has had to bring me 18 and my 17 year old sister up since on his own and it's not been easy for him the more I grow I realise what he's done for us and how thankful we should be. He loved my mum and we know he misses her a lot and occasionally gets lonely and upset. Some people may think this is a silly thing to get donations for but let me explain. We have not had everything growing up but recently we have tried decorating the house and mine and my sisters room is lovely safe and clean, where as my dads is jammed of stuff that hasn't been touched in 5years all my mums things are still there he says he would like to start clearing and sorting but I thought it would be nice if We could keep the important stuff of my mums and do something creative with it for his new room. It also gets dusty and its just really not a nice space to be in. He says he don't mind as he just sleeps there, however we all should have a space we can just relax in now and again and honestly I don't know who deserves it more than him. Such a kind hearted person who's been through so much. I just think this is the least we could do to thank him and finally do something for him when he's always doing stuff for us it would mean so much if people could help out with small donations thank you for reading :)x
