We are all running the Great Eastern Run 2018 for our good friend Will, to try and raise money for a life changing wheelchair.

Here is a message from Will to tell you all about it:

Hi my name is Will's (William really), I am 24 years old , I was born at 26 weeks and weighed 1lb 11 1.2 and I have Cerebral Palsy. I use an electric wheelchair as I cannot walk. Recently, I was given the chance to try a New wheelchair, one that will benefit me a lot. You see this wheelchair let's me stand up which means I can stand up when ever I want to or need to. Can you imagine it, this would be brilliant. As for the last 2 years I have been working on standing up with a machine but I can only do this with help of other people. This would mean I wouldn't need any help. Omg this chair can move when standing up . Also it can lay flat and can move up and down like a changing bench. So I would't have to lay on the floor in disabled toilets to have my needs met. This really does mean such a lot for me. I wouldn't get any more sores for sitting down all the time.

You really don't know how much more independent I would be. There is lots to explore. The wheelchair is a Permobile F5 Corpus VS. I really really do appreciated all your help to fundraise for this life changing chair.

Lots of Love Will's xxxxx
