Our aim is to help those that are unemployed across Hampshire to become job-ready and get back into work. We run a 6 week course, free for all participants, to coach them in the necessary skills to help them to do this. We are planning many courses this year with our latest course starting on the 22nd June 2021 we would love it if you could sponsor a participant to complete the programme.

Why do we need a course like ours?

In the UK the rate of unemployment is making it harder than ever for those out of work to find new employment due to the vast number of applicants for open positions. This has resulted in people spending a longer amount of time out of work, which is leading to people losing their confidence, feeling stressed and we are seeing a growing number of people suffering with mental health challenges.

    What we do:

At the Winchester Job Club our combined approach of providing both practical and emotional support, helps to break this cycle and get people job-ready. We do this through providing a free, 6 week course on Zoom. We cover everything from creating a great cv, to how to network effectively to providing mock interview practices, alongside spending time helping people build up their positive mindsets, confidence and resilience. We focus on creating a safe, positive and inclusive environment where people can learn, feel supported and be open about how they're feeling.

Here is a testimonial from Becky who was on our first Re-Work course:

“The Winchester Job Club coaches were incredibly supportive. They provided thoughtful, detailed CV feedback, great interview tips and created a sense of community. When I finished the Re-Work course I felt a boost in confidence!”

    Sponsor a participant

We need your help! With our next course starting on the 22nd June 2021, you can sponsor a participant to take part in the course:

    1. To sponsor the full costs (set-up, training, preparation and delivery) for a participant to do the whole course donate £360

    2. To sponsor half the costs for a participant to complete the whole course donate £180

    3. To sponsor the full costs for a participant to do one session donate £60

    4. To sponsor the delivery costs for a participant to do one session pay £20

Or you can donate any amount, we greatly appreciate donations of all sizes!

Your donations will help get someone that bit closer to becoming job-ready and getting back into work.

    Thank you so much,

    The Winchester Job Club Team
