The Windermere Winter Lights have been a much-loved part of our village for many years, bringing a little magic to the festive season for children, families and visitors alike. This year, the dedicated volunteer group who have organised them for so long have decided to step down, and rather than see this special tradition disappear, a small group of local residents – many of us parents and mums with young children – have come together to keep the lights shining.

We’re raising funds to cover the costs of this year’s display and ensure that future generations can continue to enjoy this wonderful community tradition. Every donation, no matter how small, will make a difference.

This year is about saving the lights; in future years, we hope to build a sustainable community project with events and fundraising that will keep Windermere sparkling for many Christmases to come.

Thank you for your support.
