Story

Windmill Psychology

Windmill Psychology, a community-focused organisation that has always been at the forefront of supporting local initiatives. This Christmas, we’re asking for support to help provide food hampers for families in the local community who are struggling to afford the basics.

Core Project Birkenhead

In previous years, thanks to external funding, the Core Project Birkenhead have been able to deliver over 100 Christmas hampers to families in need. However, this year, due to a significant funding shortfall, they can only afford to provide around 30 hampers.

This has left them in a difficult situation, and we don’t want families to go without food or celebration at what should be the most hopeful time of the year. That’s why we’re fundraising together this year!

What’s in a Christmas Hamper?

Each hamper provides enough essential food to support a family of four for around five days, including:

- Pasta and rice

- Tinned meats and vegetables

- Milk, bread, and eggs

- Cereal and other staple goods

These items provide stability, dignity, and relief during a time of year that can be incredibly challenging for many households.

How Your Donation Helps

Each hamper costs £22, and our goal is to raise £1,760, which is enough to supply hampers to 80 more families in the local community.

£22 = 1 family supported

However, any little helps and even if you can only spare just a little bit of money, this can make a real difference.

Together, We Can Make Sure No Family Is Left Behind.

Donate & Share

If you’re able, please consider donating and sharing this page with others.

Your kindness will help make Christmas brighter for families who need it most.

Thank you for your support and generosity.
