Story
The Windrush National Organisation is launching the Windrush Welfare Fund to help families and individuals suffering from the fall out of the Windrush Scandal. This fund will not just assist them in seeking justice, but also providing interim financial assistance, especially during this cost-of-living crisis. Furthermore, assisting them with household bills, food, clothing and even temporary housing. We are seeking to assist those that also suffer bereavements in terms of assistance with funeral costs, along with emotional and mental health support.
Many families have suffered extreme losses as a result of the Windrush Scandal and the Windrush National Organisation (WNO) which is a non-funded voluntary organisation is seeking to ease the pain of suffering that many victims have endured.
This is a part of our fundraising initiatives, and we welcome your kind donations and support.
This is an ongoing fund so one-off donations or monthly contributions would be most welcomed.
