The Eviction of the Calais Jungle is complete and has meant destruction, bulldozing, burning, tear gas, and intimidation of people who are already vulnerable. Many people, including children, have been made homeless, just as winter is setting in. There is an urgent need for new shelters.

I have developed a low-cost, strong, fireproof UN-style tent which can provide a shelter for a small family. I am going to France before Christmas to provide the shelters for homeless refugees.

Each tent costs £50 to make.

Every penny of your donation will go directly to the cost of the tents: I have already fundraised money to cover the cost of fuel to get to France and the tents will be made by volunteers.

If I get £500 this will mean 10 tents, and shelter for up to 50 people.
