Story
All the money thrown into the https://www.facebook.com/BeaconActivities2016/photos/a.369888713221082/1013165302226750/?type=3&theater&ifg=1Beacon Activities Gully is put into a fund that goes directly to buying things chosen by children who use Boultham Park. The grate is locked but it was smashed open and the money has been stolen. Absolutely shocking and so disappointing for all the children who were coming up with great ideas for things to buy in the coming months.

5 years agoHello all, I just wanted to update you on the sad news that John Pye (the man who built and looked after the Gully and started 'Wishing Well Kids') has unexpectedly passed away. In due course the mantel will be passed to somebody who will carry on with the fund and keep in mind it's original principles. Thank you all for your generosity.

5 years agoThe response has been really overwhelming, so much generosity from the people of Lincoln and beyond. It's exciting to see what the children will decide to spend it on!
