Lincoln Proteins Ltd. are proposing an application to build a Category 1 animal rendering plant on farmland at Villa Farm, Norton Disney.

Witham Valley Park Preservation Group (WVPPG) is formed of local residents and businesses who have come together to express concern about, and campaign against, this proposal.

We consider that this development would be detrimental to biodiversity; the aesthetics of Witham Valley Country Park; could increase local pollution; have a negative impact on the standard of living for local residents; and have a significant impact on local businesses.

Witham Valley Park Preservation Group firmly believe that this development belongs in an already industrialised area and not in beautiful, unspoilt countryside rich in wildlife and history.

We wish to raise funds to help finance support from planning consultants and environmental experts. Following further consultation with the local community, we have amended the target amount to fund a Stage 1 response.
