    Story

For the past 20 years, Young Voices has staged the largest children's choir concerts in the world. Over 2 million children have taken part in a Young Voices concert and we believe passionately in inspiring the next generation to find their love for music.

Each night, between 5,000-8,000 children perform as a single choir to a sold-out audience of family and friends.

This is where I want to help the children of Wittering Primary School. Every year school budgets are slashed and extra strain are put on school budgets for extra curricular activities such as this.

I am therefore aiming to raise £500.00 to help all of those children and helpers attending with the costs that such a trip bring. Coach & Driver hire, Food & Drink, Outfits for the Event etc.

My son Matthew has for the past two years been attending this event and he has grown in both confidence, maturity , socially and his singing has improved too!!! Along with many children at his school this is one of the highlights of his year.

To this end I am going to undertake the worlds largest half marathon The Great North Run on Sunday September 9th 2018 running from Newcastle to South Shields.

So please help me to raise as much as I can, giving as much or as little as you can will mean the world. So please give up a drink this weekend or that cheeky kebab and sponsor me instead. Not only will you be feeling better you'll also be doing something good for the kids. Thanks for reading.

    Big love Jon x

Young Voices music is specially selected to create a diverse musical repertoire all with the intention to introduce children to the widest possible spectrum of music.
