Bali is quite literally hell on earth for animals, and believe it or not, this dog here is actually one of the lucky ones. After 4 long, emotional, uncertain months, we are finally able to say that Wizard will be making the journey to England at the end of this month. From finding him lifeless in a ditch in Ubud to now seeing him so trusting and full of life, he really does deserve the world. Thank you to anyone who donated or shared Wizards story when we first found him back in June. We fortunately still have some donations left from this and we are now hoping to raise some more to not only help cover the costs of getting him back to England, but to also continue to help other animals suffering in Bali who are taken in by the amazing Villa Kitty. Villa Kitty is an extraordinary cat rescue in Bali where I have spent a huge amount of my time the past 5 months. In August alone they had 104 cats, kittens and puppies brought into their care bringing them to a total of 795 animals brought in just this year and we are only in September. This is a non profit organisation that offers free vaccinations and sterilisation to the Bali community. They will never turn an animal away and the work they do is absolutely inspiring.
