Sadly grassroots sports suffer from lack of funding and increased costs for facilities / equipment and other ongoing costs to allow this simple game to be played in a safe and enjoyable environment. The last few years has seen a significant shift in wet weather between Oct-Mar meaning the need to pay for all weather facilities throughout the winter or simply play NO football

The cost of 1 hour on an all weather pitch can cost between £50-£80

To help our team the coaches and some parents will take part in the Wigan 10K race to raise much needed funds to allow this group of children the support they really need to enjoy this beautiful game.
