I've raised £1000 to fund the marketing budget for my TIE placement in Uganda, at The Kasiisi Project!

Aside from my general busy-ness with accounts, several side projects and two children, I'm also lucky enough to be going and doing a TIE project this autumn.
It's a month working in western Uganda (near the Democratic Republic of Congo), for The Kasiisi project. They're a charity set up to help Uganda children, one school at a time. This help could be sanitary products to keep girls in schools, or conservation education to instil a commitment to environmental stewardship in the young, or teacher support to prevent absenteeism. What they do is wide and varied, but how they fund it isn't.
They currently rely on big donations but their ambition is to be self reliant. And that's where I come in. They have a guesthouse and farmstead that I'll be working with them to market, hopefully to ensure a steadier revenue stream so they can keep doing all that they're doing.
So, all proceeds from this fundraiser go directly to Kasiisi - as my budget to market them - so the more money the better!
Huge thanks go to all the artists who donating their work for this, Pitch and sync for the music, Bud Light for the drinks, as well as all you lovely lot who bought things and the behind the scenes crew who made it possible and kept me sane: James G, Mark D, Iona, Adam, Hannah, Ronny, Nick and everyone who has and still is supporting me on this!
