I've raised £200 to fund materials to produce PPE Face Visors for local health care workers.

Here at Woldingham School we have been manufacturing Face Visors for various healthcare workers. We initially started to 3D print visors however, it has become very apparent that we simply can't print enough to meet the demand. Pretty much as soon as a delivery goes out an email pings in with more requests!
In response to this, we have now developed a new design which we are able to laser cut at much greater speed. The design has now been taken up by other schools manufacturing visors and it has been really great to see them manufacturing our design.
The 3D printers are printing all day and we laser cut here as much as we can. The problem is we are now running low on materials.
To give you an idea of the costs involved we are able to create 12 3D printed visors from one reel of 3D Printer Filament - £14.99
We can make 120 visors from an order of 40 sheets of Polypropylene for £45.50
Fortunately being a school, we have a large quantity of OHP Acetate Sheet from days of old so we should be OK for now. If however, you have any spare OHP sheets (not the inkjet ones) do get in contact.
Please note, should there be any surplus funds from this Justgiving page they will be donated to St. Catherine's Hospice: https://www.stch.org.uk/
