I've raised £10000 to Help repair our Guide Hall

The Guide Hall in Wombourne is where the majority of our Rainbow, Brownie and Guide Groups meet. The building is approximately 50 years old and requires substantial repair work. It is used daily and has a footfall of over 200 children per week.
Girlguiding in Wombourne gives girls a chance to make new friends, have fun and grow in confidence, and provides them with opportunities to develop new life skills.
Rainbows, aged 5-7, enjoy activities such as arts and crafts, getting in touch with nature and playing games - it's all about learning by doing. Brownies, aged 7-10, can learn new hobbies, play music, explore other cultures and have outdoor adventures. We encourage sleepovers, holidays, camps and day trips. Guides, aged 10-14, can take part in lots of exciting activities at regular meetings, and can enjoy special events and trips away. The Senior Section, aged 14-25, provides opportunities for girls and young adults to travel to far-away countries, gain the prestigious Queen's Guide Award or take on a Leadership role within our organisation.
We feel that The Guide Hall building is currently neither fit nor safe for purpose and needs some structural repairs to enable us to provide more of the above opportunities for the girls. Your help would allow us to:
- Build disabled toilets - we currently do not have ANY disabled facilities and therefore cannot accommodate children with disabilities.
- Repair the roof of the hall, which is currently leaking.
- Replace the boiler, so that the building will continue to be safe to use in winter months.
- Repair the large cracks in walls to make our building weather resistant.
Your help would not only improve Girlguiding in Wombourne immeasurably, but it would restore a building that has been at the heart of the community and provided enjoyment for many past generations for 50 years, so that it can provide enjoyment for many generations to come.
