Story

Ealier this week Team Tillett had the pleasure of meeting the lovely Sally from Women's Aid who came to collect the last of our Sale Stock for their stores. The volunteers do such fantastic work and we wanted to help in any way we could.

However, we were horrified to learn this weekend that one of our local Grimsby Stores on Hainton Avenue was broken into and over £3000 had been stolen from their safe. This money had been designated to provide care and support to the vulnerable women and children staying at the refuge, after fleeing their own homes to escape Domestic Violence.

As a result of this break-in, the store is now forced to invest funds into providing extra security for the shop to ensure this doesn't happen again. This does unfortunately mean that any money used to secure and protect the store from any potential break-ins will result in less money being available for the children and their families.

Tilletts are appealing for your help and asking for any donations on Women's Aid's behalf in order to recoup the losses from this callous robbery. Women's Aid are a local charity, who support local people in times of great distress, and it is those vulnerable people that these thieves have stolen from. So, please give what you can to help restore these much needed funds taken from a great cause.

Team Tillett
