I am a professional midwife and as part of my work i am fortunate to meet different women who are a victims to the society, where they face many assaults and rapes from oppressing men with power. Many traumatized women have no choice but to deal with the problems alone, as years go by these vulnerable women are forced to remain silent and are instructed to abide to the societies demands. Many professionals who work in the civil to protect people will turn their backs towards them leaving the victims to believe they are worthless, their dignity, their divine status does not matter, if a women express their struggle to family members in the hope of receiving justice, it is believed it will bring embarrassment and shame to the family. So, IS REMAINING SILENT the best way?! Well, after hearing my patients sad stories, i have decided to break my years of silent cry- my own heart breaking story and i want to help women who has experienced such oppression to get educated on their rights and to bring justice for all traumatized women who often spent years crying in silence.
