I've raised £1000 to Raise funds for WOODFIELD 24 Care services

“I’ll have half“ was one of the last things Sue said to her friends before they went to the pub in her final days. She never lost her sense of humour. She sadly died from breast cancer on 18th September 2018 following a lengthy battle.
Denise, or ‘Dee’ suffered from a stroke in March ‘18 and during her slow progress to recovering, discovered she had a high grade of ovarian cancer. Unfortunately for Denise this cancer was untreatable in her fragile state and she lost her battle a few days after Sue on the 20th September.
Rajashri or ‘Shree’ as she was often called, discovered she had lung cancer in November 17. The cancer had unfortunately spread and she very sadly lost her battle on July 1st 2018.
I also lost my own mum, Jenny, to breast cancer in 2013, following a 4 year battle.
All of these women were strong, brave, and spirited individuals who valued family life more than anything in the world.
Woodfield 24 Care services recently cared for our dear friends Sue and Denise at home, through their final weeks of battling cancer. They are a local Doncaster based community interest company and the money raised will help other families in the Doncaster area who need the support for their families to be able to be cared for in their own homes in their final days, weeks and months. Both families found this invaluable and speak very highly of the service they received.
On Feb 2nd, myself, Wayne and Rob will be undertaking the challenge of 15 miles on a hilly terrain in Pateley Bridge, Leeds. Here are the full details
