As part of my participation in NCS (National Citizen Service) this year, me and my team are required to help a community partner to help raise awareness for them. Our prescribed community partner is the woodville centre Ham which is specifically aimed towards helping patients with dementia and alzheimer’s disease live a better life. Upon visiting the centre twice I witnessed the enjoyment the patients experienced during our visits and how it helped them to communicate more, something that they would nit do often otherwise. This justgiving page is to raise money to improve services in the centre as well as money that can be used to improve the patients’ standard of living. It is not just us who should be able to be happy.
