Story

We are the Woodthorpe Singers, and after the amazing success of our first ever virtual Christmas Concert in 2020, we're proud to present another fantastic evening of musical entertainment for you on 8th May.

The chosen charity for our Spring Concert is the Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund. This is an organisation that's particularly close to our choir members' hearts and it's for this reason that we'll be donating a massive 80% of whatever we raise to the cause, with the remaining 20% going to the choir. In the UK, around 10,000 new cases of pancreatic cancer are diagnosed each year and it has the lowest survival rate of all common cancers – only around 5% of those diagnosed survive for five years or more. You can find out more about our most worthy cause here

Our Spring Concert promises to transport you to the theatre as it's filled to the brim with show-stopping musical numbers, which you can sing along to from the comfort of your own home - we won't be able to hear you, don't worry!

As with our Christmas concert, we will be hosting the event via Zoom using its webinar format. The account we're hosting from has kindly been provided by Cartwright Communications, from whom you will receive a confirmation email once you've registered at THIS LINK .

Please bear in mind that the confirmation email will come from Danielle Hall but the email will be no-reply@zoom.us - check your spam/unfocused inboxes as confirmations can sometimes go in there!

After the webinar has ended you will be directed to our Just Giving page if you would like to make a donation or, if you've already donated but would like to make another one!

We hope you enjoy the show!
