WOOFSTOCK - An ONLINE and LIVE music festival dedicated to raising awareness and funds for Many Tears Animal Rescue (www.manytearsrescue.org).
Statistics show that despite being a nation of pet lovers, 50,000 dogs are dumped by owners in Britain every year. This doesn't include all the ex-breeders who are 'no longer any use' and are just destroyed.
Many Tears never give up on any of their residents.
They are a no-kill rescue based in Carmarthen who rehome dogs all over the country, with donations only coming through word of mouth.
From one tiny shelter they rehomed 2500 dogs last year, but funds are desperately low, especially now that ex-breeding dogs coming across from Ireland all require a £70 passport in order to be saved.

We are a group of 8 actors and musicians in South London who are coming together to make a difference and help others for causes close to our hearts.
We want our music festival to raise awareness and vital funds for Many Tears because #rescuedogsrock

Come on down to OFF THE CUFF in Herne Hill on 7th August for a live music extravaganza!
The event will feature a whole host of exciting live bands and musicians, so make sure you're there to enjoy yourself and show your suport for our furry friends.

Can't make it to the event? No problem, we'll be broadcasting the show LIVE through the Woofstock website (www.woofstockfestival.co.uk) via YouTube. Many Tears do some incredible work rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming animals but they are always in desperate need of funds. All the acts at Woofstock are giving their time for free so please show your support and donate what you can. Every £1 will help save a life.
