I've raised £500 to run a half-marathon for the MCCC building fund, the Wai Yin society and the Chinese Peer Couseling course

On the 15th of October I will be taking part in the Manchester Half-Marathon, raising money for the MCCC building fund, the Wai Yin society and the Chinese Peer Counselling Course. I would greatly appreciate it if you would sponsor me.
The Manchester Chinese Christian Church started in 1966 as a student group for bible studies. Now, more than 50 years later it has grown to a full church of seven congregations, split between English, Cantonese and Mandarin. They have been looking for our Building now for over 30 years. The search for a building, in or around China Town, had led them to the purchase of the present building at Cable Street about 10 years ago.
Wai Yin Society has been supporting, empowering and working in partnership with Chinese individuals and families for more than 25 years. Founded in 1988 by a group of community-minded Chinese women, Wai Yin has become one of the largest Chinese Community centres in the UK, sustaining its operations through commissions and contracts with mainstream organisations. The Society aims to challenge all forms of discrimination and social exclusion through the provision of diverse and reactive services, delivered by a team of qualified social workers, nurses and other professionals.
The Chinese Peer Counselling course is aimed at training Chinese Christians in the UK to support each other in their difficult times based on the word of God. The training course will be delivered by a Chinese trainer from the Hope for the Heart organisation based in Toronto. For more details please go to www.amazinghope4u.com
If you do not want to donate to a specific charity then your donation will be divided between the three projects.
