In July of 2017, I’m planning embark on an adventure of a lifetime. My self and 19 others in my year group are planning to travel to South India (Kerala) for two weeks, in hope of really making a difference to people's lives.
This trip is a chance to explore many different cultures first hand and develop many transferable skills which will help me in the future.
In order for me to take full advantage of this life changing experience, I need to raise £2,660 in funds to help get me there and back safely.

All teams will complete their project phase in Kerala or Tamil Nadu, either in a rural school, orphanage or national park. Likely activities could include basic construction work such as building and plastering brick walls, helping to paint classrooms, mending furniture or helping with basic education. Although Kerala is an economically developing state, there is still a lot of poverty in rural villages. These villages receive no funding from the governments as they are trying to turn Kerala into an upmarket business state. This means many local children’s needs have been neglected and my hope for this experience is to change someone’s life. Therefore I believe that this trip will not only benefit myself and my team but it will also majorly benefit the community that receives our help!
