Wotton-under-Edge Dramatic Society is one of the oldest drama groups in Gloucestershire. Established in 1932, The Society continues to perform high quality theatre to the people of Wotton, and support the development of young talent through WooDYS, our junior section. The headquarters of The Society, The Morley Green Room, was built in 1985, and since then has served The Society as a rehearsal space and storage facility. The Society is now in the process of upgrading and improving the Morley Green Room so that it can be used as a performing space as well as a venue that can be made available for use by other local groups and organisations, including improvement of access to the building. This requires funding and as well as pursuing support from grants and other sources, we are asking the people of Wotton-under-Edge and supporters of The Society to contribute to this fundraising effort directly through donations.
