    Story

    "We Rise By Lifting Others"

    My name is Howard Douglas.

The enormity of the issue of poverty and degradation that I witnessed has had a profound impact on me as it would on any one with moral compass. A solution can be advanced and I am of the opinion that Insurers could be a significant element of that solution by becoming 'corporate heroes' providing sustainable funding for deprived communities by becoming dynamic integral social investors.

WRBLO has been set up to connect insurers directly to the needs of deprived communities in a special way. We are able to leverage the unique financial benefits to insurers produced by an artificial intelligence platform that slashes insurers' costs and eliminates insurance fraud, whilst markedly increasing insurers' efficiency, and productivity.

From the windfall proceeds (an annual average of 3 Billion Ugandan Shillings UGX - about £6.6 Million) realised by insurers, WRBLO say10% (an average of £600,000) must be distributed to deprived communities in Uganda going forward, year on year. WRBLO will disperse these funds through a partnership network of qualifying charities and NGO's such as Uganda Networks who are a non-political, non-denominational organisation comprising membership of some 200 charities and local trusted stakeholders working in Uganda.

Our concept is strong and is a sustainable project idea, with a clear execution path’ that is socially and economically beneficial and presents a comprehensive solution to a major global problem’

Insurers need a strong solution that makes them more relevant to deprived communities as they urgently seek new ways to sustainably increase their business growth. This unique innovation delivers them a unique solution that works for them too and we need your help to ensure that insurers get the message and are informed of how to act now in their best interests by unequivocally participating in this project that will provide for the essential needs of deprived communities and generate economic growth through the substantially growth of insurance penetration.

We are seeking your corporate as well as personal donations and may we all be encouraged and inspired to contribute to this global effort in doing what is moral and right.

There is no truer fact so succinctly expressed in the inspirational quotation by Robert Green Ingersoll...

    "we rise by lifting others"

and further expressed in the noble words of John Wesley ...

"Do all the good you can, by all the measure you can., In all the ways you can, in all the places you can, at all the times you can, to all the people you can, as long as ever you can"

We all are created to love and demonstrate true love in doing good to others - especially the poor as confirmed throughout the Holy Scriptures...

You shall give to him freely without begrudging it; because of this the Lord will bless you in all your work and in all you undertake. For the poor will never cease out of the land; therefore I command you, You shall open wide your hands to your brother, to your needy, and to your poor in your land.(Deuteronomy 15:10-11)

Every man according to what he has decided in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for ELOHIM loveth a cheerful giver. And ELOHIM is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work: As it is written, He hath dispersed abroad; he hath given to the poor: his righteousness remaineth for ever. Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness; (2 Corinthians 9:7-10)

Funding the enhancement of general healthcare will pay for functional medical facilities, routine visits by experienced mobile doctors to places that have no access to healthcare and where travelling for routine medical attention is very difficult. We hope to partner with Access Afya as an example of a local trusted and informed stakeholder.
