Anyone who knows me will know how much I dislike running and how much I love rabbits. This year to help support something I love I have decided to push myself to do something which terrifies me, a half marathon!

In October I will be taking my part in the Worksop Halloween half marathon to raise money for the Warwickshire rabbit and guinea pig SOS. This rescue is very close to my heart as because of them my little snowbell met her perfect husbun who, thanks to Caroline and the volunteers, was saved from roaming the streets.

However it is not just him who they have helped. Each year they take in as many abandoned as possible and nurture them back to health and find them big happy homes. This process isn't cheap, rabbits need neutering, vaccinating and often much much more after being rescued, including healing broken backs and removing teeth after rabbits have been saved from bad conditions and diets.

it is because of all this hard work I have decided to use the marathon as a way of trying to raise as much money as possible for the rescue to be put towards vet fees and food as well the general upkeep involved in looking after such complex fluffs!
