Story

*** LONDON TO MANCHESTER BIKE RIDE ***

My sister had less than a year of study remaining at Salford University to become a fully qualified nurse. She was offered a job on the stroke rehabilitation ward at Fairfield hospital in Bury, a position that she would start once graduated. On Thursday 18th May, 2017 at the age of 32, a week after securing her job she suffered a right sided haemorrhagic stroke herself. Thankfully, with the amazing care from NHS doctors, nurses, and support staff and with the love from family and friends she is now on the long road to recovery.

To give her the best chance of recovery I am hoping to raise funds that will subsidise my sister’s medical care and support my niece. I will be riding from London to Manchester continuously with a number of friends only stopping for toilet breaks and food stops, a ride totalling 220 miles. We will be riding the first weekend of September, 2017. Any donation regardless of amount will be greatly appreciated.
