Story

I got to know Pauline Town & Joe Solo back in 2015, when WE SHALL OVERCOME was launched. Hundreds of events were put on all over the country not to make a political stand, but to simply help and support those less fortunate in life.

Many of you will be aware of the work of Pauline & Joe, but as a quick summary..........

Pauline runs The Station Hotel in Ashton Under Lyne, which she uses as a community hub for the homeless and people generally in need. She provides food, clothing & essentials to those who don't have them, and also works endlessly with the local authorities to get housing and accommodation for the homeless.

Joe is a Singer/Songwriter from Scarborough, who travels literally hundreds of miles each week to perform his incredible music and poetry all over the country, donating all proceeds to much needed causes. He does all this after a full days work in a full time job.

From this work, people have been fed, re-homed and generally cared for.

I've set up this page as I turn 30 this week, and as a birthday gift i'd like to send something over to these guys and do my bit. Anything as little or large will go to massive use, either providing food/clothing/sanitary products for those who need them most. As far fetched as you may think it sounds, whatever is donated, could save a life.

I am a dad now, and to think that my son, or indeed any of us, could end up in need of help one day, puts this cause close to my heart.

Thanks for reading and in the words of Joe "If I have to I will save the world one life at a time" x
