What is crowdfunding?

Story
Here's the short:
Wu Tang Clan is an American hip hop group from Staten Island, New York City. In 2015 Wu tang was about to release a studio album titled 'Once Upon a Time in Shaolin' but to this date it has yet to be released due to a legal agreement with the purchaser states it cannot be commercially exploited until 2103, although it can be released for free or played during listening parties. Martin shkreli who is regarding as the most hated man in America after his company turing obtained the manufacturing license for the antiparasitic drug Daraprim and raised its price from US$13.5 to US$750 per pill has the one and only copy of Once Upon a Time in Shaolin which he reportedly bought it for sale 2 million dollars but now he is trying sell it on eBay. This is why this go fund mm page has been to buy the album back and release it to all the Wu tang and hip hop fans for free
