Story

Wycombe Wanderers are pleased to support an appeal for monetary donations to the One Can Trust foodbank in High Wycombe, due to increased demand but reduced supply of food items for underprivileged people in the local community.

The foodbank partnered with the club earlier this season and holds a collection at each home matchday, receiving dozens of tinned and packaged goods which are distributed as emergency food parcels to people in crisis in the community.

Demand for food parcels has increased as a result of the coronavirus outbreak, with many families hit by job losses, but supply has dwindled due to people being unable to leave their homes to drop items at the foodbank, and many supermarkets being short of tinned goods.

Therefore the club would like to share an appeal for monetary donations, which can be made easily and securely online right here.

- £10 keeps the cupboard full in a family home for a month

- £150 can pay for a week’s administrative support

- £500 can pay for a month’s rent for food bank store

Thank you in advance to those who are able to contribute.
